Hi there! I can´t believe it´s October now and I have barely posted on my blog for the last couple of months…as you know it has been very busy…which is great! I give total priority to my couples so that they can enjoy their photos sooner than they expect. This is the main reason why I always behind on my blog posts. But who is counting!!
I´m so happy it´s autumn and I get to enjoy the mild weather, have the beach for myself (heeeheee!) and start posting some of the amazing weddings I have photographed this summer!
I have been wanting to share with you for some time the AMAZING photos I got from my first (and probably only) film workshop I have attended. In the spring time I traveled to the Provence to enjoy a few days of shooting film and learning from Greg Finck´s workshop. He is very talented and shoots only in film. I love anything Fine Art and when I started my Photography as a hobby, I also started shooting my own film and developing it myself. Just when I was starting to take Photography seriously the whole industry changed and everyone went digital, and so I did. Now film is seeing a fantastic comeback and I have added to my packages the option of a portrait session only in film, which can be incorporated to your wedding if you are interested.
I have sooooo many nice photos of this workshop that is literally overwhelming. The theme of the workshop was Alice in Wonderland. In day 1 we did a bored Alice in the park with a picnic, a rabbit and the start of the story with Alice finding the mirror and then being transported to another world. In day 2 we encountered the Queen of Hearts, which was my favorite day. The amazing dresses were designed for the workshop by Greg´s wife, the talented bridal designer Rim Arodaky. I shot the photos with my Canon 1v and used Fuji400pro, scanned by Carmencita. Here are a few of my favorites.
