20 YEARS!
In 2024, I'll be celebrating my 20th year as a wedding photographer, and let me tell you, my passion for weddings has only grown stronger.
Truth be told, I did not think I would make it this far....! I started in Photography because as a dreamer, I could not stand working in the stiff corporate banking environment. All I wanted to do was have fun and be my own boss.
During these 20 years I have had good and bad moments. For a few years I felt burnout and wanted to quit but I could not. Why?, well, I'm a wedding junkie. There's nothing quite like the magic of these moments.

When I started back in 2004, no one really knew what a wedding planner was (in Mallorca) or did! And there were only 4, now I lost count of how many there are only in Mallorca, hundreds! Same with photographers, there were only a few and now they are even flying in from all over the world!
what is a WEDDING PLANNER?
I got my first wedding published on a major bridal magazine (Cosmopolitan UK) back in 2008. The bride wore a cool sixties look with feathers, a short dress, and big hair, and the wedding decorations were in lime and black, a really cool look.

I found my first wedding portfolio in my archives and guess what...it is a real physical portfolio made of paper. Not an online portfolio! All the photos there were shot on black and white film and I printed them all by myself in a home lab!

The Canon 20D was the first digital camera that I used professionally for weddings. From the outside it does not look so bad but technically it is almost prehistoric!

I have had many brides who wore stunning dresses, but this one really caught my attention for many years. It was a design inspired by Marie Antoinette, in a Rococo style with a modern twist. Helena wore pink peonies on her hair that matched her bouquet, and she looked stunning!

This is a photo of Olivia, resting on her uncle´s antique car. Olivia is my cousin so I went to her wedding as a guest. I used the opportunity to take some beautiful black-and-white photos of her, which I also developed and printed myself manually, and she ordered an album from me. My first paid job!
