It was a lot of fun capturing this very special day for Megan and Sam. From the start we were on the same page regarding poses, and what kind of style and aesthetics we wanted to capture, and both the couple and their families were easy going and made me feel very at ease.

The couple comes from San Francisco, so most of their guests traveled from the States for this stunning celebration.

Megan´s mum had been going through a very serious illness, so it was emotional to see her enjoy the party and dance the night away. I made sure that the bride had plenty of photos with her mum and the whole family.

I lost my mum many years ago and I think that family photos are very important. As much as I love magazine-worthy images, weddings are also a family affair and it´s greta to have these photos, so we can remember our loved ones after they are gone.


My favorite part of the wedding was the couple´s first dance. Megan is a keen dancer and their choreographed first dance looked like a professional performace. They were fantastic!!
