St. Regis Mardavall Mallorca Fun + Elegant Wedding

I´m very excited to share with you one of my favourite weddings of the season so far. Not only was my bride Amy stunning and fun, but her whole family was incredibly warm and friendly too. I felt very at ease around them all and that is something I appreciate very much. Mind you, it was not my first time around them.

A few years ago Amy´s equally stunning sister Georgia also got married at the St. Regis Mardavall and guess who took their Photos and Video? So I was very flattered when they approached me again for Amy´s wedding Photos & Video as it means we did a very good job! Both sisters are beautiful and a joy to photograph and I´m so glad I got to be part of their special day.

Amy and Georgia´s dad warmed my heart when he said: “Any time I am feeling down I take a look at the wedding pictures, and I get to relive the joy and happiness of that day over and over again and it just makes me realise how lucky I am and how happy I am”. He really seemed to appreciate the wedding photos and has them on display at this digital frame in his home.

The family also repeated the ceremony celebrant, which was Toni Pons, one of the best, make-up and hair by the fantastic Marta Lula and Cuban musician JAGG , also my favourite artist and entertainer. This time around they brought a violinist (whose details I don´t have) that cheerfully played around the tables during dinner.

I must add that on the wedding day itself it was very very hot. We had one of those African hot waves and it was impossible to be outside and not sweat. We had scheduled a very early First Look (around 3pm) and the sun was just terrible. I managed to do the First Look in the shade but the ceremony was in full sun…putting all my best skills to the test. I stayed only after the cutting of the cake and the sun was still strong, but I am quite pleased at how the photos turned out. Amy was a champion. She was spontaneous, fun, would not stop laughing even in the heat and she would do anything we would ask her with a huge smile. Her shoes were by Gucci. She looked like a model out of a bridal magazine so I would not stop snapping away. Here I share with you a few of my favourites, hope you like them too.

This is the note that Nikki, the mother of the bride, sent me upon seeing the photos:

“Wow, wow, wow they are beautiful, thank you so much, it was a wonderful day and your photographs have captured every moment beautifully. I will forward them straight to Amy and Sam.

Kind regards Nikki xx”

Thanks to Amy and Sam and all their family: it was a pleasure photographing you all.  Sandra
