I love surprise engagement photoshoots! When Matt emailed me (from Brooklyn, New York) that he was planning a surprise engagement for her future fiancée Sofia at the charming Ca´s Xorc Hotel in July, I was excited to be a part of it. We carefully organized the best location and timing to do so. Here is what he said in his email:
“Once I get to the hotel and walk around I’ll be able to get a feel for my exact plan, but as of now I’m just planning to casually walk into the garden with Sofia around 6:45pm local time to get settled in. I wanted to let you know that I think I found “the spot”, which is right below the staircase down to the outdoor restrooms below the pool. If you come down from the pool area it should be a great spot for the shot. Also, the hotel is going to set up a little table for us to enjoy a quick glass of champagne following the engagement, and I welcome you to join us for a toast!! 🙂
Turns out someone was filming with a drone in the garden at the exact right time when the couple were meant to walk down the stairs but thankfully I managed to persuade them to wait until later 🙂
But everything worked out just perfectly (as it always does) and here are the beautiful images. Thanks so much, Matt for having me to capture them!
This is the feedback I got from Matt after seeing some of the images of the surprise engagement photoshoot in Mallorca:
“Wow wow wow!!! They are incredible 🙂
Can’t wait to view them all after work today!
Thank you SO much for being a part of our memorable night and capturing it 🙂
THANK YOU AGAIN!!!”
