When Christie (from Florida) met Edvard (from Norway)...they were both living in NY, right before the pandemic started. That whole situation made them stick together even more and a few years later they got engaged. When planning their wedding, they wanted a relaxed and not extravagant family celebration abroad and chose Mallorca as the perfect middle point to meet.
The wedding couple chose the luxurious Belmond Hotel La Residencia, a favorite among couples seeking an elegant wedding venue in Mallorca (and one of my favs too!). Christie and Edvard asked me for a mix of naturally posed and non-posed photos. They loved my style and were excited to work with me, for which I am so grateful. Christie is a gorgeous girl that knows exactly what she wants (and how to get it!) and she is a very smart cookie that has built her own ice-cream company in the US. My team also filmed the wedding, and below is a video-clip of the beautiful highlights clip.
Deià, with its charming cobblestone streets and stunning vistas of the Tramuntana mountains and the sea, provided the perfect setting for their romantic celebration. The actual ceremony was held on top of a hill on the Hotel La Residencia´s grounds, at a secluded spot called El Mirador. Check out the gorgeous flower decorations around the ceremony area, they were simply amazing.
Following the heartfelt ceremony, guests enjoyed a delightful cocktail to the sound of a Spanish guitar player. A delicious meal from El Olivo restaurant followed, overlooking the breathtaking views of the Deià hills.
