All the way from California, Jack chose the beautiful setting of Deià and El Olivo Restaurant at Belmond La Residencia to surprise her girlfriend with a romantic yet relaxed engagement proposal. A couple of months prior, Jack had contacted me and we made the arrangements so that it would all be a surprise for Crystal.
What I like about surprise engagement shoots is the opportunity to capture such a romantic and important moment in their lives. It does require a certain planning before hand but it always is worthwhile when I see the excitement and happiness on the couple´s eyes, and that smile that they cannot erase off their faces. These shots were very relaxed, unposed and spontaneous.
