I shot this fun and beautiful rustic wedding a while ago, before the pandemic, but I am re-publishing it now because I messed up my blog posts on the migration to my new Showit website. So let me take this opportunity to introduce you again to this cheerful and very much in love Swiss couple, Sabrina & Daniel.
They celebrated this special (and very hot ) day surrounded by their intimate friends – around 40 guests- mostly Swiss as well. One of the things I loved about it was how relaxed and fun the whole atmosphere was. Easy-going couples are my favourite, and Sabrina & Daniel enjoyed their day to the max while also allowing a little time for photos (around half an hour).
I particularly enjoyed the moment when Sabrina was getting dressed because she was wearing her mum´s bridal dress! Isn´t that cool! So I enjoyed photographing that mum-daughter moment with the emotions running high and the laughter and the tears of joy. I have a sweet spot for moments like this ever since losing my mum only two years after my wedding. I now cherish every single photo I have with my mum and want every bride to have at least a few nice photos of her with her mum too.
The couple exchanged vows on the Finca Son Togores stone patio and enjoyed a delicious dinner al fresco in the evening on the stunning gardens overlooking the countryside. White, mint and emerald green were the theme colours of the wedding.
